Congorock
Italy's recent electro renaissance has catapulted banger after banger out into the world. Yet in the middle of this distorted beat onslaught, young upstart Congorock has managed to distinguish himself in style by synthesizing his influences - from Dancemania 12"s and hardcore punk to video game cheat codes and Magic into a unique world of sound all his own. With a name of African tribal influences mixed with a “rock'n'roll” attitude he has gained support from such tastemakers as Benny Benassi and Steve Angello. His remixes of “One” by Swedish House Mafia and “Somebody To Love Me” by Marc Ronson are already a classic. Many projects are boiling up so stay tuned!
